Hi everyone!

We have been exceptionally busy the past 6 months while we acquired and started cleaning and remodeling our new rock shop home; the historic Kino Rocks and Minerals! A Tucson staple in the rock community since the 60s (known previously as Pardo Rocks and Minerals), the property has been vacant for the past 10 years and needs considerable work done. We’re looking forward to bringing it back to its former glory.

We also spent the past 3 months moving out of the first Raining Rocks home - the building on 5th St. Whew! What a process that was. I didn’t realize just how much we acquired in the past few years.

We are now focusing on getting the new place ready for a soft open for the 2025 Tucson gem show. We will be open daily from 10 am - 5 pm mst Thursday, January 30th through Monday, February 17th. Outside of those dates, we welcome visitors by appointment only. The property is gated and we will be onsite at various hours, but we may not be there if you just stop by. Though there is onsite security, they will not be able to assist you and will not allow you on the property if Suzanne, Ilana or Odie is not present.
